Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, PAN, Aadhaar, address, date of birth), usage data (pages viewed, sessions), device data (browser, OS), and financial data required to process investments (wallet transactions, bank references).

How we use your information

To provide and improve the VESTATE platform, to comply with KYC/AML and other regulatory obligations, to communicate about your investments, to prevent fraud, and to satisfy legal requests from authorities.

Sharing of information

We share your data only with (a) service providers under contract (identity verification, cloud hosting, payment processing), (b) regulators when required by law, and (c) professional advisors under confidentiality. We never sell your personal data.

Data retention

We retain KYC and transaction data for the duration required by Indian financial regulations. Documents you upload remain in our secure storage even after account closure, in line with statutory audit requirements.

Your rights

You may access, correct, download or request deletion of your data (subject to statutory retention requirements). Write to privacy@vestate.in to exercise any right.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access controls, and periodic security reviews. No system is perfectly secure — we ask you to protect your account with a strong password and to notify us of anything suspicious.

Cookies

VESTATE uses functional and analytics cookies to keep you signed in and to understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the platform may not function without them.

Updates

We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email and in-app. Continued use of VESTATE after an update constitutes acceptance.
